I don’t know how (or why) I get conned into these things. I order food from outside, so I don’t have to think about cooking (which, incidentally, I love). This whole Build Your Own or BYO (it took me a while to figure that one out) defies the purpose. Well, the Poké Pacific delivery kitchen in Motor City begs to differ. Their whole menu is based on BYO – choose a number of bases, proteins, veggies, sauces, toppings and garnishes – how many of each depends on the size you order, and Voila! you have a Poké bowl. Quality of the ingredients, especially the fish, is very good and they’re quite generous with their portion sizes too. If you’re into Poké, these boys are definitely worth a try. Mind you, there are a lot of Poké options in Motor City these days.
