Chicks ‘N’ Friends is brought to us by the same creative folks who brought us Catch22 and Operation: Falafel. This Motor City delivery station is the restaurants reach across from JBR where its first and only branch is located. My household loves fried chicken and we order from KFC, religiously. We’re not hung up on KFC and regularly try fried chicken from other places but none, in our mind, come even close. Until now.
This is how it arrives Very well packed and all materials recyclable. I liked that a lot. Peek-a-boo
The first thing that’ll shock you is that prices are almost exactly the same as KFC’s and that’s saying a lot because KFC prices are ridiculously low. Order through Zomato (as I did) and you get a further 15% knocked off – yeay! Our 12 Chicks Special came in UNDER fifty bucks, including tax and delivery – hello baby!

So, how does it compare to KFC taste wise? I found the Chicks ‘N’ Friends fried chicken and tenders (spicy of course) juicier than KFC’s. I thought they tasted better too. And they weren’t nearly as oily. Their fries are great too. In fact, everything was so good that I have to order again to make sure it wasn’t a fluke.
Tenders Excellent fries – truly fantaschick! Fried Chicken
For now, however, I’m going to rate them; right up there with the best and certainly better than Popeye’s, Texas Chicken, Chicken Cottage and Marrybrown. This is for their fried chicken. These new boys also have grilled chicken AND noodles (yes noodles). And with delivery to our home in Arabian Ranches in under 45-minutes, the diet I’m going to be starting in 2020 is looking more and more challenging. Highly recommended.
