Pink Mango is a delivery only Indian kitchen with branches in Dubai Marina and Motor City from where we ordered a Zomato home delivery. Expecting food as bold and exciting as their unusual brand name suggested we ordered Mutton Bhuna, Goan Shrimp Curry, Chicken Tikka Masala and a Crunchy Raita – all for a very reasonable Dhs89 including delivery. Zomato ensured we got our food in a speedy 45 minutes. So far so good. Sadly, it all went south from there…

I’m probably wrong, but the Mutton Bhuna and Chicken Tikka Masala seemed to share the same curry sauce, but for some reason the mutton tasted better. The Goan Shrimp Curry included no more than four or five small shrimps drowned in a curry sauce which tasted nothing like the real thing – very disappointing, which basically sums up our experience of this home deliver from the Pink Mango. I’ll stick to venerable Bhoujan in Motor City when my curry pangs next tickle.
