My daughter and I ordered a Zomato home delivery from Wok Boyz the other night. Wok Boyz are an Asian street food themed restaurant franchise. To me they’re a wannabe mix between PRAX and Wokyo. The ordering process is easy, choose your protein, choose your carb, choose your veggies and finally choose your sauce (or something like that) and hey presto! you’ve got a noodle dish. The first time I experienced this mix and match was at Wokyo in JLT, only theirs is miles better than the Wok Boyz. In addition to noodles we also ordered spring rolls (crispy) and shrimp tempura (soggy and limp).

The important thing is that my daughter liked most of the food (not the tempura). So, all in all not bad, but next time I want to order Asian I’ll stick to our neighbourhood Indian-Chinese from the Monk in Silicone Oasis or, if I’m in the mood for more authentic Chinese, Dragon Seeds in Academic City.
