Pronto Café is a cafeteria style European bistro at the Fairmont Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road. It is NOT part of the VFM, fast food chain of the same name. This is a slightly more upmarket proposition. Located at the residence side of the building, over breakfast and lunch it shares a common seating area with neighbour and YO! Sushi-wannabe, Café Sushi. Pronto Café is not open for dinner.
Walk along the fashionably rustic looking cafeteria façade and, in addition to soup, salad, dessert and sandwich sections, there are a number of daily dishes on display for you to choose from. All this under the watchful eye of chef Nour, a veteran of some of the finest restaurants in Switzerland. And if you don’t see anything you like, there is an à la carte menu too. With an obvious emphasis on healthy food, I prefer Pronto Café to the hotel’s all-day-dining restaurant, Cascades.
Waste NOT. Want NOT.
