Is it just me or does this burger in a red bun remind you of that scene in Grease where Frenchy takes off her scarf to reveal a pink head of hair? red bun? really? Besides this, how was I to know that the wait staff in this restaurant are all dressed up in army fatigues? I didn’t know whether to salute my waiter or show him my EID. It’s one of the reasons why I accepted everything he offered me, including the red bun burger, aptly called the Red Devil, and a chicken santo (also in a red bun) slider – Fiery Chicken. Both burgers were good but we’re not talking High Joint or Pickl. standard…after all, these are burgers in RED buns. I think this whole concept is very much targeted at a younger, more impressionable audience, and in that context it works brilliantly. I’ll stick to the more conventional burgers (like those mentioned earlier) which rely on taste rather than visual effects…
