Habib Beirut Lebanese Street Kitchen is a delivery only kitchen with branches in Downtown Dubai and Al Quoz where I ordered from. My order (for three) looked something like this: Mixed Shawarma Platter, Eggplant Fatteh, Fried Kibbeh, Falafel Platter, Tabbouleh Salad, Fattoush Salad and Hummus Shawarma. The order reached home within the specified hour and was well packed. As a result, the food was still warm. We found the shawarma meat from the platter very dry but mixed with hummus, something I had not tried before, it was amazing – try it. The salads weren’t too sour, something I like, and both falafel and kibbeh were good (not fantastic). The eggplant fatteh was OK, nothing to write home about. All in all, this was a very average experience. Considering the options available in the area, from Allo Beirut to Qalat Baalbak, I will think twice before reordering (I’m being nice).
