KPOP Chicken’s name is misleading. This is a fully fledged Korean restaurant not simply somewhere to get fried chicken (as I must admit I have done). Located on ground level of the Indigo Icon Tower in Cluster F, JLT, KPOP’s interior tries, through TV screens more than anything else, to portray an imagery of Korean KPOP culture. It’s certainly a fun place to be…if you’re into KPOP…the music, synchronised boy bands, etc. Let’s get on with the food.

On all three occasions I have eaten at or ordered from KPOP, it has been fried chicken. I simply love it. Whether its their battered chicken or their deep-fried tong dak style chicken, I love them equally.

I recently ordered their wings to compete in our Thursday weekly food-off and, although they didn’t win, they didn’t disgrace themselves either.

KPOP is a much-overlooked venue. If you like Korean food, especially fried chicken, this is a very good option.
