Rivas serves the best Iranian food in Dubai, bar none. This doesn’t mean you should run out and visit ether of its food court outlets as neither offer anything special in the form of ambiance. Instead order in. Rivas excels at home delivery and catering. Whether it’s kababs, like their unbelievable Kabab-e Torsh or their Khoresh (stews), Rivas offers unparalleled authenticity and adds a new dimension to yum. I have eaten at almost every Iranian restaurant in Dubai. Let me assure you, none come close. No, they don’t have chicken masti kabab like Ostadi (or the character/charisma) but believe me, they run circles around Ostadi and Ostadi’s grandfather on just about all other counts. I strongly recommend you try their dish of the day, always delightful. Hands on restaurant proprietor, Masood Shafiei, is always on hand to guide and advise and can be reached on 055 556 4313. This restaurant comes with my highest recommendation.
