Nightjar is a cosy café in the Alserkal Avenue complex of Al Quoz. Its dimly lit interior is dominated by a wrap around counter which doubles as an open kitchen, bar (although the café is not licensed) and coffee prepping area. It’s a handsome yet casual environment where one can easily get comfortable. Its perfect for everything from alone time (with a good book or notebook), a business meeting or simply to socialise with friends. The staff are super friendly and familiar (in a good way, as my daughter says). In addition to service, stand outs for me have been the music and the coffee. I didn’t quite like the pie. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.
