Everyone has their favourite burger joint. I have a list of favourites and Shake Shack has been very near the top of that list from the second I bit into my first Shack Burger when they opened in Mall of the Emirates a couple of years ago. Nothing has changed since then. I still get goosepimples when I walk into a Shake Shack, this branch at The Beach in JBR included.

I’ve stopped ordering doubles. A single is more than enough for me. My son still orders double patties though. But my wife, who is on a Keto diet, orders hers without a bun – a request the Shacksters are happy to accommodate. It’s amazing how true to the original their burgers still are – talk about consistency. Service remains first class. Very few burger joints in the world come close to Shake Shack.
