Bite Me Burger Co. is a delivery-kitchen based in Motor City. There’s one in Marina too. These boys specialise in sliders, the mini-me of burgers. What attracted me to them was the coocoo names they have for their sliders – Bloody Mary, Hail Caesar or one of the two I ordered, Jack Daniels – the other was their Classic American Bite. I didn’t realise how small these little suckers are. And when I say small, we’re talking two-bites-and-a-nibble small. But I found them delicious, especially the Jack Daniels. Their chunky fries were very good too and I ate every last one.

Zomato got my Duo to me while both, snuggled together in their little cardboard box, were still hot. I appreciated that their packaging was completely plastic free (kudos to you, Bite Me). BUT two Thumbelina sized sliders, an equally small portion of fries and a Coke cost a whopping AED55 – that’s more than two Big Macs or a Double American Muscle at BurgerFuel or even a Double Original at Johnny Rockets. Which will I choose when the burger pangs start a-tingling? Well, I’ll go for the big boys for sure. That said, I’m sure many will really like Bite Me Burgers. Give em a try and decide which you’d choose after.
