Neptune Pool Bar & Restaurant at Caesars Palace Bluewaters Dubai is one of the best parts of the Caesars complex. Why? Because a) it conveniently sits between pool and beach, b) it has a beautifully shaded area by the bar which, of course, has air-conditioning blowers for when it gets too hot and c) it has draft beer (Heineken and Peroni) – what else do you need? Okay, it has some great grub too.

There’s nothing special about the Neptune menu – it’s standard poolside, which includes burgers, pasta, finger food, salads, etc. My friend and I shared a Wagyu Burger and Fish & Chips, of which you get two pieces of perfectly fried cod, an easy share. In fact, this was one of the best fish and chips I have had in Dubai. Not so the burger which, although chunky and tasty, was overcooked and dry. The fries were excellent.

And on top of all this you have this guy who comes by every half an hour or so with sticks of frozen grapes – how delightfully decadent.

Our lazy afternoon by the pool at Neptune was made all the more special by the amazing service. I must take this opportunity to commend Caesars on their staff – they are among the best in the business.
Gladson Johnny
In this case we were looked after by a wonderful lad by the name of Gladson who I would like to thank. I must also mention cool dude Johnny with this coconut cart, singing…coconut water, is good for your daughter…coconut has iron, it makes you roar like a lion. Come on, man, it doesn’t get more “island” than that.
