Manzoni Bistro & Bar is a fully licensed Italian restaurant (bistro and bar) at the Pullman JLT in Cluster T. Its entrance is stereotypical of so many Italian restaurants in Dubai with a Vespa at the door. Not so the interior which has a casual elegance without being too in your face – hey! look ata me, my name is Luige, I come-a from Etaly; the only give away being the pizza oven on the far end of the restaurant.

The food at Manzoni is consistently good. I have been there several times, be it every time for lunch, and have been happy with each and every meal. One reason is because of their amazing value for money Express Business Lunch, which offers a choose of one antipasti and one secondi for only Dhs55.
The other obvious reason is because everything from the complimentary bread, olive oil and balsamic vinegar at the beginning of the meal to the pizza, pasta, mains and finally desserts are really, really good.

Service is friendly, fast and infinitely accommodating. This isn’t one of those ‘we have rules’ kind of places. You want a pizza with a different topping to what is in the book, they’ll do it for you. Want your pasta cooked with a unique sauce, they’ll do it for you – within reason of course. And it’s licensed. So, in a nutshell – good ambiance, good food, good service, good price and booze – what else do you want?
