Chili’s is a famous US Tex-Mex franchise which has been in the upper restaurant food court, on the Ski Dubai side of MOE, for as long as I can remember. Like all the other restaurants in that row it too has outdoor and indoor sections; the outdoor section of course still under the super high MOE roof.
The Chili’s menu is crammed with favourites such as Beef Ribs, Sizzling Fajitas and of course, burgers. I ordered their grilled salmon and my boys order a burger and a chicken rind sandwich. People forget how typically American Chili’s portions are – they’re (as Moto Moto says in Madagascar) Huge! And they’re pretty damn yummy too (in a processed food sort of way).
Service is have-a-nice-day friendly and smiley. But with all the amazing choices one has at MOE, it’s really hard justifying Chili’s (unless you are a Chili’s fan). Otherwise, why have a burger there when there’s Shake Shack? Why have grilled salmon there when there Salmontini? Etc. Maybe because it’s one of the few places where you get them all under one roof.
