Chinese Palace has come a long way since it first opened its doors at the venerable Al Ghurair Centre back in 1980 – gosh, that’s 33 years ago! It’s spread its originally Taiwanese wings from fancy-pansy dine-in restaurants to mall-based food court outlets to the now-fashionable delivery kitchens, the first of which I ordered from in Motor City. The concept of a delivery kitchen bodes well for the Chinese Palace Group which includes (in addition to its namesake) – are you ready for this? Koryo Korean BBQ, Panda Chinese, Umami and the daddy of them all – Din Tai Fung. Yeah, go ahead and hit that order button – authenticity and quality are literally guaranteed.
This is how the food arrives; packaging is first class AND eco-friendly Inside the box, everything you need is catered for These are the individual containers The container lids are the only plastic they use – super eco effort. Even spring rolls are packed in paper
One of the most unique things (there are many) about the Chinese Palace menu is their Meals Options. I ordered a Meal for 2 which includes a choice of 2 entrées, 2 sides, 2 soups, small appetizer, drinks, and spring rolls or eggs – all for only AED95 – that’s amazing value when you consider what I got was: 1st Entrée: Broccoli Beef, 2nd Entrée: Orange Chicken, 1st Side: Vegetable Egg Fried Rice, 2nd Side: Vegetable Chow Mein, Appetizer: Beef Dumplings (4 pcs), 1st Soup: Chicken Corn Soup (medium), 2nd Soup: Chicken Corn Soup (medium) – plus two complimentary spring rolls.

Of course, you can configure this any way you like and there are options for one and/or for three plus. In my case, portion sizes were perfect for our meal for two and quality was consistent with what we have come to expect from the Chinese Palace Group – yanni very good. 100% worth a try.
