Amici is the Italian (all-day dining) restaurant at the Ibis MOE in Barsha. It’s where you get breakfast there in the mornings. Whilst elaborate (one might argue, lavish even) by Ibis standards, where in Europe you would have to suffice with cereals, bread, cheese and some green apples, by Dubai standards the Amici breakfast buffet is filling but disappointing. Spoilt, am I? Of course. I want my eggs fried fresh in the morning not scrambled and then overcooked by the warmer in a chafing dish. The truth is, for the budget traveller, especially one who has breakfast included in her/his package, the Amici breakfast buffet offers all you need to tank up on for a day in Dubai. Just remember, you’re in Barsha and have many far better options…starting with those at the mall itself.
