Overlook the fact that some creative genius actually named this restaurant after a Thai salad, and the fact that it is located in perhaps not the poshest of Dubai’s neighbourhoods, but believe me when I tell you that this is, without a doubt, ONE OF THE BEST THAI RESTAURANTS IN DUBAI. Ignore those stupid reviews on Zomato which give this place a 1.0 – they are either delivery related or don’t know what they’re talking about.
Located in the China Cluster, a part of International City usually associated with Chinese restaurants, Thai Beef Salad has a simple, modest interior highlighted by two bamboo-hut cubicles which give it a very Far East Asian vibe. Enter and you are greeted first by a strong smell of fish sauce and then by members of the all Thai staff.

The food at Thai Beef Salad is sensational – their Green Curry is the best in town – bar none. Listen, these guys make their own green curry paste. No one else (with the exception of Zen) makes their paste from scratch. Be careful with heat levels. When these guys say it’s hot, the devil starts sweating. Their Papaya Salad is amazing, as is their Spicy Beef Soup. I didn’t care for the Grilled Beef which was a bit tough but everything else was superb.

Service is pure Thai – warm and genuinely friendly. This is not food you should be ordering. It’s too good. Believe me, it’s worth the trip out to International City no matter which part of Dubai (or the UAE) you live in. Thai Beef Salad Restaurant – the best value for money Thai restaurant in Dubai.
