Raju Omlet is one of the few restaurant franchises which seems to get better with each new branch it opens; a case in point is this new outlet in Business Bay. Small it may be but it’s actually an improvement on their corporate Indian street corner theme. And this includes their egg-based menu. A big fan of eggs fried sunny side up, I fell in love with their Eggs Kejriwal, a tribute to the century-old Willingdon Club in South Mumbai where the dish originated. If you like the ooey-gooey then you must try their Cheese Masala Omelette, it’s to die for. So is the Egg Lazeez. But you know, I didn’t like the Power Omelette quite as much this time. I think it was overshadowed by their others. Enjoy your eggs with a fluffy paratha or two, and to wash it down there’s a selection of the most amazing chai. Try the superb Zaffaran Elaichi Chai. Service is friendly and (usually) fast but can require the occasional prod. Raju Omlet Business Bay, well worth a visit.
