Established in 1972, Chicken Tikka Inn is one of Dubai’s oldest, affordable Indian restaurant franchises. This branch on 18A Street behind Nasser Square in Deira is either the original or not far from where the first of their eight Dubai branches first opened. Its interior is spacious and respectably appointed. The food has an old school yum to it few new restaurants can replicate. I strongly recommended their signature Chicken Tikka (order it spicy) which is one of the best around. Also, consider the Chicken Tikka Masala…which tastes even better when you hum Hail Britannia while eating it. I love their Poori but also order Naan (the Poori is too greasy to have on its own), no rice. The Bhindi Piyaaz is another must order. Service is friendly, fast and accommodating. Worth a visit.
