Rajdhani Street, in the Platinum Tower of Cluster I, JLT is the ‘street food’ version of thali masters Rajdhani. Quite why they went the route of opening a funky chaat house rather than another thali branch is a mystery BUT good for us that they did because this colourful little outlet is firing on all cylinders from the go.
That’s not to say you can’t have a thali at this new place. You can, and I did. Not nearly as elaborate as their mainstream thalis, the thali here is amazing nonetheless.
But thali is not what all the hoo-ha at this place is about, it’s about the chaat. So, stuffed as I knew we were going to be from their thali, I asked for a portion of Pani Puri. Served with each golgappa ball (already stuffed with filling) on top of a shot glass filled with imli pani, their Pani Puri is as delicious as it is fun to eat.
I also had a Jal Jeera AND a Chass – talk about an overkill.
Service is amazing; friendly, fast and hugely accommodating. Prices too are very reasonable, ticking the last of my boxes. Rajdhani Street is definitely an outlet worth a visit.
