Yūgō Sushi is an affordable Japanese restaurant in The Greens. Located in Building 4 of the Emaar Business Park next door to Arrows and Sparrows, its interior is handsomely decorated; a simple banner with Japanese calligraphy on one end and a sushi counter on the other letting you know that this is a Japanese restaurant.
Yūgō Sushi offers a more authentic Japanese experience that the likes of Sumo. The food is genuinely good. We tried many items from the menu re-ordering their Sunomuno (Japanese Cucumber) Salad and Gyūdon (or Beef Bowl) due to popular demand. Thankfully their Chicken Miso Ramen came in a smaller portion than I expected as it wasn’t very good. The rest of our meal, however, kept us chewing more than talking. I personally loved the Gyoza and Calamari.
Service was more attentive than it was friendly; you get that sometimes with new restaurants which hit the ground running. And that’s fine; ultimately, we got what we wanted, when we wanted. Bottom line, Yūgō Sushi is a wonderful little Japanese restaurant and well worth a visit.
