I have been to Sri Aiswariya Vegetarian Restaurant three times in total, once on purpose and twice (including this last time) by mistake. I remember meeting one of the two sister owners of the restaurant the first time. Sweet, she is like everyone’s aunty and fussed over our table and order. She invited me back to try their thali, something I never did. Sri Aiswariya is not a big restaurant but its well kept and, as one would expect of a restaurant with a hands-on lady owner, spotlessly clean. This is most definitely a place you can bring the entire family to.
My sister, transiting off a red-eye from Durbin to her home in Vienna, walked straight out of DXB demanding sleep or a South Indian breakfast. Zomato suggested Sri Aiswariya and it was only when we walked in and I saw Owner Aunty that I realized I had already been here…twice before. I’ve only been for breakfast, so I knew we wouldn’t be disappointed.
The Dosas, Idlis and Vadas are really good. So is the Sambar. Also try their filter coffee – it’s superb. Service too is very good; the staff are friendly and accommodating making this restaurant in Karama well worth a visit.
Waste NOT. Want NOT.
