I write this as much as a review as I do a warning – the food at Tiki Ming kinda sucks! Located on the first floor, Carrefour-end food court of Mirdif City Centre, Tiki looks the part, and many of the dishes on display are familiarly named, like General Tso’s Chicken, Szechuan Shrimp, Shanghai Noodles, Beef Broccoli, etc., none tasted remotely similar. And from the amount of water I needed to drink after my meal, I can only assume someone in the kitchen was heavy-handed with the MSG.
At AED32 for the ‘any three items’ combo, it’s good value for money considering how generous portions are, but unless ‘tanking up’ is your primary objective of eating, I would seriously consider other options.
Hint – Panda Express at the entrance of the food court serves the best food court Chinese this side of Dragon Mart. BUT if you DO find yourself at the Dragon Mart (either 1 or 2) food court, do not waste time with anything other than Sun Tour.
